Abstract text: Dentomaxilar anomalies start to become clinically evident at the end of the temporary and mixed dentition. The prophylaxis of maxillary dental anomalies consists of intercepting those disturbances and early treatment of the anomaly. The study presents some practical cases; the common anomalies treatment method, type of device used, and time evolution of patients under the influence of orthodontic treatment. In the study I have been used mobile devices (Petrick device) and fixed appliances (Forestadent). For diagnosis and treatment plan development phases we observed: complete and correct orthodontic consultation, study models, orthopantomography profile teleradiography etc. At the end, the study highlights the interdisciplinary collaboration and early detection of the anomalies. To obtain the dentomaxilar morpho-functionality, regardless of the patient age, orthodontic consultation is needed and we must give a special attention for the decision to extract the teeth, whether it concerned a temporary or permanent tooth. Only the orthodontist should decide if the teeth would or not be extracted. Regardless of the appliance to which it appeals to an anomalous correction is very important the collaboration with the patient starting with the patient’s written consent, respect the regular control appointment and must have a rigorous hygiene in the mouth. With regard to children – thus evolving organisms is necessary and extremely beneficial interdisciplinary (pediatrician, ENT, speech therapist, etc.).
