| Abstract text: | Introduction. The pregnancy status is a particular physiological status which involves a different approach on each illness which appears during the period. Among this paper we propose to evaluate the relation regarding clinical aspects, diagnostic and evolution between pregnancy and acute viral hepatitis. Hypothesis. The study follows the evolution of acute viral hepatitis on pregnant women appeared in different pregnancy moments following the mutual influence of combining a pathological status with a physiological one. Methods. The study was realized on patients from the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic and from the Infectious Diseases Clinic on a period of 10 years. There were 50 pregnant women observed with ages between 18 and 35 years old with all types of acute viral hepatitis appeared during the pregnancy. There were observed the following parameters: clinical types of disease, liver changes, changes in pregnancy evolution, clinical changes, therapeutic approach, the hepatitis’ influence over the normal pregnancy evolution, the hepatitis’ influence over the birth moment, the hepatitis’ influence over the new born child. Conclusions: 1) The acute viral hepatitis has a bad influence over the pregnancy; 2) The pregnancy is a physiological status on which the hepatitis has a different from normal evolution; 3) The risk of infection with the hepatitis virus is not influenced by the pregnancy; 4) On pregnant women which are infected with hepatitis in the first quarter of pregnancy abortion is recommended; 5) The clinical signs of hepatitis are more severe on pregnant women; 6) The acute viral hepatitis on pregnancy can cause spontaneous abortion, premature birth, fetal mortality or severe bleedings. |
