Abstract text: The ectopic pregnancy is the development of the embryo outside of the uterine cavity, it can be in the fallopian tubes , ovaries, abdominal region, ligaments and cervix. Diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy is : amenorrhea followed by vaginal bleeding and abdominal pain. The value of serum beta HCG doubles every 2-3 days, the vaginal ultrasound highlights the gestation bag outside the uterine cavity. Retrospective study conducted in the University Clinic of Obstetrics and Gynecology “Dr. Salvator Vuia” Arad on the year 2009. We have followed a number of parameters by the operation registers, observation sheet and the records of laparoscopy. This showed that 2% of pregnancies are ectopic, average age ranging between 26-36 years old. Most patients come by emergency with broken ectopic pregnancy, metrorrhagia, in very bad condition being operated by emergency. 40 have been classic surgery, removal of the fallopian tubes (left or right) and 100 by laparoscopic surgery.10% of maternal deaths are given by ectopic pregnancies thus representing a gynecological high risk.
