| Abstract text: | New swine virus circulated for two months and half in Arad County, with a total of 146 cases. In patients over 20 years, 22.05% had associated diseases: asthma-3, hypertension and cardiovascular-3, diabetes-2, chronic obstructive pulmonary-3, obesity-2, chronic liver disease-3, pregnancy-1 cancer-1.The relative risk of infection in people with chronic diseases-including pregnancy- is two and a half times higher than in people without chronic diseases based on a confidence interval calculated at 95%, p <0.005, for people between 20-69 years. In these patients the risk of severe forms of disease is five times higher. In patients over 25 years - analysis by the profession – statistics shows that 15.27% are health professionals, (doctors - 7, nurses -3). The relative risk for infection in health professionals is eight and a half times higher than for the rest of the population, (p <0.005), for people between 25-69 years. There is no risk of severe disease to health professionals, in the absence of associated chronic diseases. There was no infection of patients with H1N1, sourced by health professionals. |
